It’s Been A While…

…but I’m back. Hopefully I can get back to posting regularly, even if it’s only one post a day, that’s better than nothing, right?

Here’s some “new” music I’ve come across since the last time I posted (which was a long, long time ago). Some of this is very recent, other stuff is a little old. But everything’s good, no matter when I came across it.

This is in no particular order; I’d say listen to everything, chances are you’ll find something you like.

If you want more info on any of these artists, leave a comment and I’ll help you out.

Kid Cudi feat. Kanye West: “Erase Me”

Here’s a brand new song by Cudder feat. Kanye. I’m not sure if this is going to be on Cudi’s upcoming album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, but I’m glad this was released. I don’t know what it is, but I already love this song. I wasn’t really expecting a song like this, but Cudi never seems to fail me when it comes to making good music, or at least music I like. Spotted over at PFOP.

Great song and video. Thanks to my man Mike for suggesting this.

Watch it on youtube; I can’t find a video that has embedding enabled.

Kid Cudi Arrested?!
June 12, 2010, 11:23 am

Apparently, Kid Cudi was,

“arrested in NYC today for felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance. Sources say Kid took a 24-year-old woman’s phone and slammed it to smithereens. He also allegedly broke the door of her apartment off its hinges. Cops arrived and found a glass bottle of a controlled substance”.

I hope it’s not true, but if it is I hope everything gets worked out according to the letter of the law. I’m disappointed though.

Here are some photos/videos from a recent concert at the Famous Factory that featured Curren$y, Vado, Sean Price, and Rich Hil. The credit for everything goes to my man Brook Robbins, a fellow Hypebeast member, who was nice enough to let me feature his work here on my blog. Check out links to more of his work at the bottom of this post.

Here’s the latest tracks to be leaked from Drake’s upcoming album “Thank Me Later”. First up is “Unforgettable” feat. Young Jeezy; next up is “Miss Me” featuring Lil Wayne. Both tracks are great, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of album sounds like; I’ve liked everything I’ve heard so far so it should be good.

MoShadee: “The Progression”

The Progression reflects my growth both musically and as a person. I’ve gone through a lot of transitions as an artist. I feel like this project represents how genuine I am, something my music is able to portray. It’s gonna show the world what I’m truly about. Every song describes a situation that took place on the trek towards my dream, which I’m still on route to reaching. “The Progression” was put together to inspire anyone reaching towards something others may consider risky. I uncovered some of the events and feelings that occur during ones quest to discover true undeniable passion. From the grind and the hustle, to the feeling of glory and success all combined into one. We only live once, let’s live it how we want.
