I’ve been playing Skate 3 nonstop since I got it a few weeks ago, so I’ve been in a skateboarding kind of mood lately. (Thankfully games like Skate 3 exist so I can “skate” virtually and avoid real world injuries.) I decided to watch this short documentary I came across on the Hypebeast forums last night. I’m glad I did, it’s pretty interesting, and definitely worth watching.

Here’s Kanye performing “Power” at the BET Awards; I can’t wait for his new album, which is apparently dropping on September 14, along with Cudi’s second album and Big Sean’s first. G.O.O.D. Music is going to have a huge day if they all drop on the 14th, and I’ll be picking up all three.

Amazing.

Here is Mike Posner’s first official music video, which debuted today on MTV. It’s crazy how he just graduated from Duke and already has a video on MTV and radio play. The guy is doin big things, and I wish him the best; he’s one of the chillest artists I’ve met so far so I hope his success continues.

Here’s a video for Wiz Khalifa’s track “The Kid Frankie” off his mixtape “Kush and Orange Juice”. It’s just another simple video but I like it, it fits the song.

This is a video of the new owner of the New Jersey Nets Mikhail Prokhorov; he hired a production crew to film and edit a video of him doing jetski tricks while on vacation. That’s how much money this guy has to blow; ridiculous. Hopefully he turns the Nets franchise around.

Here’s a video with the best parts of the “Baker 3″ skate video. I just downloaded and watched it last night and it’s great. I’m glad I found it because it reminded how much I like skateboarding, despite the fact that I could never skate in real life haha.
