Salesmanship

In my short employment history, I’ve sold everything from kitchen knives to 52″ LCD TV’s to Toddler sized Converse Chucks. And I’ve sold a lot, of everything. Yet I’ve never sold myself. By this I mean I’ve never given up what I stand for in order to make a sale. I’ve always said that I’m an honest salesman, a line which is usually met with chuckles. But such a thing does exist. I’ve worked with a few honest salesman and I always make sure that I maintain my integrity no matter what job I’m working. As Kanye once said,

“I’d rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I’m not.”
